In 2019, our founder looked at the marketing landscape for local businesses and wanted to vomit.
Business owners were being charged $5,000/month for “brand awareness” campaigns that resulted in exactly zero new customers. It was robbery with a smile.
So, 1 Local was born with a simple rule: If we can’t track it, we don’t do it.
We stripped away the fluff. We fired the “brand strategists” and hired data analysts and SEO geeks. We stopped focusing on “likes” and started focusing on “leads.”
Turns out, business owners prefer making money over getting likes. Who knew?
